The Power of Advice

Our experience.

We are personal finance experts and have wide ranging experience of helping our clients formulate their financial objectives, put in place a plan to achieve these goals and make sure they stay on track.

We are there for clients through the ups and downs of financial life, helping you, amongst other things, to achieve savings goals, plan for retirement, help with a business sale, prepare a legacy or receive an inheritance.

We know how important it is to be able to talk to someone who has been through it before – this is what our advisers are here for.

Behavioural finance.

Our life experience tells us to be cautious in difficult times and to take advantage of the good times; however, in financial markets many of our behavioural biases lead to bad investment outcomes. We cannot help it because these biases are deeply ingrained. Research shows that investors often travel in the wrong direction when left to their own devices: selling when markets are falling rather than taking advantage of lower prices, valuing the near-term more than the long-term, holding onto investments that have fallen and believing information that reinforces our own views but dismissing information we disagree with.

Part of our role is to act as a coach – helping you to avoid common investment mistakes.

Holding our client’s hands through difficult times.

We all go through stressful times in our lives, many of which we may only experience once in our lives, such as redundancy, divorce or bereavement, but which an adviser will have faced many times at the side of clients.

Our advisers have the experience, expertise and empathy to assist and guide our clients when they need us most.

Meet the Team

Expertise and qualifications.

Our advisers have built their expertise over many years and we strive for the highest professional standards, relevant qualifications and adopt innovative working practices. All our advisers are members of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and undertake a structured programme of continuing professional development (CPD) activity to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date. We are directly authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and subscribe to a professional code of ethics.

Our advisers either already hold Chartered status or are working towards higher level qualifications and are supported by a highly qualified business support team, the majority of whom are Diploma qualified.

Making the complex simple.

Our professional reputation and the trust of those we deal with are vital to our continued success. Our clients entrust us with substantial amounts of their wealth and look to us to understand their objectives and deliver innovative solutions; providing them with all the information they need to make informed choices.

With an ever-increasing array of financial products, coupled with the growing complexity of legislation and taxation, choosing the most appropriate course of action can be overwhelming. That is why we work hard to develop long-term relationships with our clients and seek to give them reassurance that there is always an expert on hand to help guide them.
